Specific Media Appoints Former P&G Global Marketing Executive to Lead CPG Category
Industry veteran to expand company's leadership in key vertical
IRVINE, Calif., May 18, 2011 – Specific Media, a next generation media platform company, today announced the appointment of Vic Catalfamo as global category lead, consumer packaged goods (CPG). Bringing more than 20 years of product and digital marketing experience in the CPG industry, Catalfamo will oversee Specific Media’s business development, marketing and sales strategy for the company’s CPG customers.
Specific Media has a longstanding history of providing innovative digital media solutions for brand advertisers across multiple verticals, and has recently expanded its offerings to include video and original programming. Catalfamo’s appointment will help to inform both strategy and product development to meet the evolving needs of Specific Media’s extensive CPG client base.
Prior to Specific Media, Catalfamo spent 24 years with Procter & Gamble (P&G) in global and regional digital marketing, R&D and engineering roles. Most recently, he led global and multi-brand marketing for P&G’s beauty and grooming business unit, overseeing e-commerce, online advertising, search, mobile and integrated digital campaigns. Prior to this role, he managed digital marketing for P&G’s North American hair care retail brands, and held key roles within the company’s consumer household products groups.
